October 23rd, 2017, Westborough, MA – RedLink’s Library Dashboard, which helps librarians and institutions by providing a complete, normalized overview of usage and turn-away statistics, has been named “Best New Product/Service” in the 2017 Charleston Advisor Readers’ Choice Awards.
As noted in the award announcement: “The Redlink Library Dashboard collects and standardizes COUNTER and non-COUNTER use statistics from publishers and vendors and displays the information in a single interface with robust charts, cost metrics and discipline-level analytics. The analytics and presentation. . . sets a new bar for functionality.”
The awards are selected by the editorial board of The Charleston Advisor, which comprises senior librarians from a range of universities and consortia, alongside representatives from related associations and publications.
“It’s a definite honor to receive this award from the Charleston Advisor,” said Kent Anderson, RedLink’s CEO. “We’re pleased our practical solutions for libraries are helping them see what they’re missing in their usage data to help with their e-resource management.”
In addition to Library Dashboard, RedLink offers librarians RedLink Network, a separate public benefit company providing a community-driven IP registry service. The Network provides libraries and publishers a free, easier and more secure way to communicate access credentials, saving time and ensuring readers have uninterrupted access to subscribed content.
The RedLink team is looking forward to the Charleston Conference (November 6-10), where they will be available for demonstrations and discussion at table 101 during the Vendor Showcase.
